If you’ve read something here that made you think, or made you angry, or made you want to tell me it worked, this is the place. The messages below go to one person: me.
Worth writing about
- Questions about a post. Something unclear, or you tried it and something didn’t behave? That’s the most useful message I get.
- Corrections. Spot a mistake, a dead link, or a price that’s moved? Tell me and it gets fixed, and the fix gets noted.
- What worked and what didn’t. You used a guide here and it helped, or it flopped. Both are valuable; the first one for me, the second one for whoever reads the update.
- Suggestions. Topics you want covered, tools you want compared, questions you keep getting asked by clients. I collect these in a list that never gets shorter.
- Working together. Sponsorships, partnerships and collaborations are considered, slowly and suspiciously, but considered.
What gets a polite pass
Cold pitches with no connection to the site, link-exchange offers, and requests for free site audits. The free site audits thing: I ran an agency for five years, and the word “free” there means “expensive for someone eventually”. If your site has a specific problem this site covers, the posts are the free version. Start there.
When you’ll hear back
I read everything myself and answer what I can, usually within a few days. If a message arrives during a week of deadlines, it takes longer. Repeated follow-ups move it down the queue, not up.
Before you send
The boring but important stuff, in one place: how your message and details are handled is covered in the Privacy Policy. How this site makes money, since some of the things I write about pay commissions, is in the Affiliate Disclosure. How content gets made, reviewed and updated is in the Editorial Policy. Where AI is used in that process is in the AI Content Policy. And the plain-English terms of using the site are in the Disclaimer.
None of that is a trap. It’s there because a site that tells you how it works is easier to trust, and trust is the whole point.
