A site that writes about AI and Google updates should say plainly how it uses AI itself. So here it is.
Last updated: October 2026.
Where AI is used in the workflow
- Research and drafting. AI tools help with research, outlines and first drafts. No post goes live from a first draft; every post is reviewed, edited and fact-checked by a human before publishing.
- Editing and formatting. AI is used for tightening sentences, generating titles and similar mechanical work.
- Images. Some featured images and artwork on this site are AI-generated and used for illustration. Screenshots and examples from real tools are not.
- Automation workflows. Posts about AI automation describe systems built for real projects (audits, reporting, content pipelines). Those workflows are the topic, not a secret.
What this site will not do
The things Google’s systems penalize are exactly what this site refuses to do: mass-produced content published without human review, articles written to game rankings rather than answer questions, and AI output dressed up as original expertise. The helpful content update exists because of sites that did this. This is a site about recovering from that, not one of the causes.
What that means for you
Treat posts here as human-edited content with AI assistance, which is the honest way to describe most professional content in 2026. If a post was weaker than it should have been, the editor’s name (mine) is on the site, and the contact form is right there.
This policy will change as the tools and the ground rules do, and this page will be updated when it does.
